Rollingstone.com is seeking an Associate Digital Producer to assist the Sr. Producer and Video + Motion Graphics team in producing original video content. The ideal candidate should be confident in making quick editorial decisions and thrive in a fast-paced environment. He/she should also have good writing abilities, be organized and assist in overall video production management.

• Collaborating with editors, motion designers and other producers to ensure deadlines are met.
• Supports Sr. Producer in project tracking and overall production schedule including asset and workflowmanagement
• Effective storytelling and script writing within the video platform

Skills

• Strong writing skills including video or other broadcast news writing (eg. writing for the web)
• Must be a quick-thinker and problem-solver in fast-paced environment
• Self-starter, self-motivated, self-sufficient
• Must be able to hit deadlines and communicate effectively with other producers, designers and editors
• Should be able to manage multiple projects at once
• Familiar with analytics and other performance metrics (eg. Chartbeat)

Requirements

• 2-3 years of newsroom or other editorial experience
• Adobe Creative Suite including working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Bridge, InDesign
• MS Office and/or Google Drive
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems
• Must have a good sense of humor and a strong knowledge of current affairs and the music industry
