Summary
Located in the heart of the Atlanta design community, the Wendover Art Consulting team partners with many of the most prestigious companies and designers in the country. Although this is an entry-level position, you will immediately have a hands-on role in supporting the Wendover production process, and will soon be working closely with the art consulting team in building distinctive artwork programs for a range of hospitality, healthcare, and corporate environments - programs that uniquely reinforce and enhance the client’s overall design concept. The person hired for this exceptional career opportunity will be working side-by-side with a seasoned team of art consultants, each of whom is helping us redefine and set the standard for the art consulting profession.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients in developing exclusive artwork programs - Manage design projects through all phases of design and delivery -Position and strategically build the business - Interpret and reinforce design concepts through artwork selection and graphic manipulation - Select and design complementary framing and matting - Develop artwork placement specifications - Construct compelling artwork design collateral materials - Maintain project deadlines, and adhere to budget established by client - Create detailed artwork specifications of selected pieces, and work with members of the Wendover team throughout the quotation process - Format production forms once orders are received - Coordinate artwork installations - Participate in strategic business reviews and contribute ideas for growth - Establish and sustain trusted client relationships - Represent Wendover Art Group at national tradeshows and industry events - Prepare and lead client presentations - Maintain consistent reporting around all business development initiatives
Ideal Candidate
- A positive, can-do attitude and desire to work in team environment - A self-starter with a desire to work hard, as we are an ambitious firm with demanding clients - Strong academic track record with focus on Interior Design (please be prepared to share GPA and standardized testing scores) - Strong organizational and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently - Ability to read and understand floor plans and elevations - Strong leadership skills and a competitive spirit - Ability to employ creative thinking and innovative ideas - Uncompromised professionalism, integrity and accountability - Proficiency in relevant software programs, such as Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
