Summary
Wells Fargo’s Corporate Properties Technology Group, part of the Corporate Technology CIO team within Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) is seeking a Technology Manager to lead the IT enablement and management of building technologies and governance of the application portfolio supporting the Corporate Properties Group (CPG). This role will be responsible for overseeing the deployment of a Building Technologies Target Operating Model and ongoing governance of building technologies IT asset management practices, as well as governance of Third Party Hosted Solutions and the on premise application portfolio. The position will interface across many groups of EIT, Information Security, Risk and the CPG line of business in order to address risks associated with building technologies cyber security. The position will also be responsible for IT enabled building automation solutions involving predictive analytics and remote command and control systems. The team is looking for a highly motivated, adaptable team player who is accustomed to working in complex environments, partnering with a diverse group of stakeholders, and achieving results under tight timelines.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for leading deployment and ongoing governance of the Building Technologies Target Operating Model to effectively manage building technology assets through their lifecycle * Facilitate remediation of out-of-compliance Building Technology assets * Facilitate IT enablement of building automation solutions through analytics and remote command and control solutions. * Manage Third Party Hosted Solutions (SaaS and ASP applications) to gain enterprise approvals and ongoing compliance * Collaborate and consult with other technology and business managers * Oversee production support pipeline and associated small initiatives * Manage individual team members including coaching, talent development and performance management. * Deliver process improvements, operational efficiencies and capacity planning to meeting technical and business demands * Coordinate interactions with other EIT groups on technology refreshes, maintenance, upgrades, and patching of application and database servers – spanning development servers to production servers, including BCP servers. * Partner with other EIT and cross-functional groups such as Information Security, Risk and other groups to deliver highly dependable, secure and integrated solutions * Interact with CPG line of business leaders and functional peer group managers * Manage vendor relationships and engagements with service providers Note: Must be able to work onsite in Charlotte, NC or San Francisco, CA.
Ideal Candidate
**Required Qualifications** * 7+ years of technology experience * 2+ years of leadership or management experience, in a technology environment * 2+ years of budget management experience **Desired Qualifications** * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Ability to interact with all levels of an organization * Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management * 2+ years of management experience * 2+ years of experience coaching and developing a team * Knowledge and understanding of office building or operations center property maintenance/operations * Knowledge and understanding of application development and implementation * Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy * A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology * 2+ years of business intelligence experience * Ability to manage multiple or large technology infrastructure components **Other Desired Qualifications** * Knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure, networks and IT asset management. * Knowledge and understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS), building automation and Internet of Things. * 2+ years leading teams in the delivery and support of complex solutions * Experience in delivering Corporate Real Estate / Property Management solutions. * Charlotte, NC is the preferred work location.
