Senior Front-End Software Engineer

The Senior Front-End Software Engineer is responsible for building the client-side of the WeGoLook web applications. Translating the company and clients needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

* Strong client-side coding skills and experience using Web standards (W3C) * Understanding of accessibility standards * Ability to create clean, organized, and modular HTML and CSS code, leveraging current techniques, tools, and libraries * Experience implementing styles that work across many browsers and devices * Experience developing modern JavaScript code for production environments, using common libraries * Ability to use AJAX with RESTful APIs * Knowledge of SASS, LESS, or other CSS preprocessor * Experience with grid layouts, media queries, and other responsive techniques * Experience refactoring existing code to improve readability, code reuse, performance, and maintainability

**Competencies** * Experience developing progressively enhanced Web experiences * Familiarity with JavaScript testing tools * Understanding of functional programming paradigms * Experience optimizing performance, such as time to first paint * Experience with Service Workers **Required Education and Experience** * Bachelor’s Degree preferred * 4 years of experience in a relevant area
