Income Processing Specialist

Wedbush Securities is one of the largest full-service investment banks in the nation. Our Los Angeles office has an immediate need for an Income Processing Specialist. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of income (i.e. dividends, interest and principal), received from various sources, to our clients and the associated tax reporting functions.

* Pay dividends, interest, principal, maturity proceeds, broker claims and various other charges from different entities * Perform tax reporting functions, foreign withholding processing, optional dividend processing and related cost basis adjustments * Monitor assigned dividend suspense account * Research and resolve open items * Respond to all customer email inquiries and assist with answering customer phone calls * Assist with processing proxy statements * Other duties and projects as assigned

* BA/BS degree preferred * In-depth understanding of the systems utilized by the group preferred (e.g., SunGard Phase 3, BETA, DTC PBS/PTS) * Highly computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Able to maintain a high degree of accuracy a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * Able to work independently as well as within a team and prioritize daily work flow with little direction
