Looking for a strong php/WordPress developer with a creative voice, an eye for UX and the passion to build interactive experiences for our clients and for today’s web and devices. An ideal candidate would be a self-starter with zeal, who owns it and cares about their work and craft.

• Collaborate with product and editorial teams in agile or Waterfall development cycles
• Architect and implement solutions to high level requirements
• Work with other developers and provide technical leadership on a project

• 3 or more years experience building custom WordPress plugins and themes
• An in depth understanding of PHP/MySQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/jQuery
• Understanding of HTTP and RESTful API services
• Experience with common development tools (Git, subversion, etc)
• Experience with Linux server administration and debugging
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Proven track record of launching and optimizing production websites
• Experience writing PHP/JS unit tests
• Drupal development experience a plus
• Contributor to WordPress or open source projects a plus
• Broad knowledge of other technology stacks (Microsoft .NET, Java, iOS, Android) a plus
