Looking for a strong php/WordPress developer with a creative voice, an eye for UX and the passion to build interactive experiences for our clients and for today’s web and devices. An ideal candidate would be a self-starter with zeal, who owns it and cares about their work and craft.

* Collaborate with product and editorial teams in agile or Waterfall development cycles * Architect and implement solutions to high level requirements * Work with other developers and provide technical leadership on a project

* 3 or more years experience building custom WordPress plugins and themes * An in depth understanding of PHP/MySQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/jQuery * Understanding of HTTP and RESTful API services * Experience with common development tools (Git, subversion, etc) * Experience with Linux server administration and debugging * Excellent time management and communication skills * Proven track record of launching and optimizing production websites * Experience writing PHP/JS unit tests * Drupal development experience a plus * Contributor to WordPress or open source projects a plus * Broad knowledge of other technology stacks (Microsoft .NET, Java, iOS, Android) a plus
