Software Development Engineer in Test

Software Engineers are responsible for developing new products, features, and functionality for our customers - but also have an additional focus on continuous delivery and quality automation.

In order to support hundreds of on demand releases every month, the QA Guild members focus simultaneously on product development but also on developing a fully automated platform for testing, deployment, and monitoring. Your code will be put to use by all engineers in our preproduction and production platform as service (PAAS) architecture to ensure that our web, mobile, and micro service applications are fully operational. Your experience in successful delivery of quality products will provide a yardstick against which engineers will measure their own test strategies. This role requires core product development while cross training on the continuous delivery tooling/technology - in order to understand continuous delivery challenges as well as to give yourself broader experiences.

**Qualifications** * 2+ Years of Software Engineering and/or 2+ Years of Continuous Delivery Automation Experience **Technical Skills** * Strength in one modern programming language (Java, Scala, Clojure, etc.) * Experience in developing and/or testing one or more of the following areas: * Unit Testing * Frontend Development and Testing Technologies (e.g. AngularJS, PhantomJS) * HTTP ServiceOriented Architectures / Micro services Architectures * Experience with Continous Delivery / Platform as a Service technologies (Bamboo, Jenkins, Stash, Docker, Mesos/Marathon) a plus
