The entrepreneur has a decade of experience building an enterprise data management company from 2 to 50+ people, with a successful exit to a large, publicly traded company.

iOS MOBILE ENGINEER OVERVIEW

• Weather.Build is a fast growing start-up looking for you, an iOS mobile engineer. Join our team and work with our business and technical founders, developing a SaaS decision support solution for the construction industry. You are experienced collaborating in small teams and developing ground-up products, with creative thinking and complex problem-solving skills. Your self-motivated personality fits our ambitious early-stage company and energetic start-up culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with a growing team of engineers and designers, and with outsourced groups
• Design and develop iOS mobile apps
• Design and develop automated push notifications
• Support a rapid and responsive culture and process with agile and scrum development methodology

• Minimum of BS in computer engineering, software engineering or related engineering discipline
• 3+ years experience collaborating in small teams with agile and scrum development methodology
• Experience developing and shipping ground-up, commercial products as a hands-on coder
• Background in mobile user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design
• Experience interfacing to backend systems and developing against web-based APIs
• Experience with large projects in source control (git)
• Experience with SQLite for mobile, modern mobile and messaging technologies, APN, MMS, etc.
• Ability to quickly learn and develop expertise in complex existing applications
• Experience with architecture – engineering – construction (AEC) industry software nice to have
