Content Producer

Wayfair is the largest pure-play online retailer of home goods in the US. Key categories for the company include furniture, decor, kitchen & dining products, home improvement, patio & garden and baby. The company, founded in 2002 as CSN Stores, is based in Boston, MA, and has additional offices in Utah, Kentucky, New York, Galway, Ireland, London, England and Berlin, Germany. Wayfair employs over 2,300 people across those offices.

The Wayfair Creative team is looking for a Content Producer to help generate fun and exciting videos for the brand. This person will work on a small video production team to conceive, film, and edit recurring videos for all types of social media platforms. This candidate is in-touch/constantly using/obsessed with both pop-culture and the home space, and also has a background and love for writing compelling content that others just can’t help but share. The role will include brainstorming, planning, writing, production, and plenty of exploration as to why some content pieces are better than others.

* Work on small team to brainstorm and create content (from start to finish) that is in line with brand initiatives * Work alongside video production to produce all of the content * Write and message multiple videos and campaigns that meet our ROI targets * Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across our brands * Collaborate with video team to determine strong video content * Manage several projects at once while ensuring deadlines and quality of the content is met

* Previous experience writing sharable online content for video (1-3 years) * Very passionate about social media and full understanding of how each platform works and why * Self-motivated individual who isn’t afraid to explore new ideas and take on new projects * Works well under pressure with tight deadlines and multiple projects * Basic knowledge of photo and video is a plus * On set experience in front of camera is a huge plus * Competitive drive to outperform past projects in a fast-changing space
