Administrative Assistant

Waste Connections (NYSE: WCN) is an integrated solid waste services company that provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services in mostly exclusive and secondary markets.

* Implements and executes marketing plan to grow business and establish new customers. * Provides assistance to outside sales on a variety of administrative tasks * Conducts account analysis and data review on new and existing business * Files liens and provides accounts receivable assistance on large projects * Interacting with customers, non-profits, business associations and trade shows to retain current customers and attract new customers for commercial waste removal and disposal services. * Delivers services to customers in a manner that promotes goodwill. Interacts with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine service requirements, resolve problems or complaints, and seeks cost-effective, safe, and environmentally sound solutions to service issues. * Effectively communicates customer issues, needs and opportunities with customer service employees and other managers. * Other administrative duties as required to support the day-to-day functions of the Inside Sales team.

* Bachelors degree required for future promotional opportunities. Recent graduates in Marketing, Business or Organizational Development are encouraged to apply * Customer service or inside sales experience preferred * Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills * Positive attitude and ability to incorporate new duties and tasks as assigned * Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities * Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and related business systems
