Senior Manager, Marketplace Business Development

The Walmart.com Marketplace Team is looking for individuals who can collaborate and thrive in a fast pace & entrepreneurial environment, customer driven/obsession, think like an owner, good business instinct/judgment, demonstrate and foster innovative thinking, use the latest tools and technology to analyze data and insights to rapidly grow and scale 3rd party sellers’ assortment to meet the evolving needs of our customers The Sr. Manager, Marketplace Business Development will play a key role in defining the selection and seller acquisition strategy that will drive rapid growth in Marketplace assortments to the needs of Walmart Customers. This position requires the ability to collaborate with the Merchandising, account management, and integration team to acquire new sellers and onboard them to bring new unique selection that exceeds our customers’ expectation.

* Partner with key functional partners such as account management, customer insight group and merchandising team to identify a list of unique selection that we need to acquire and onboard to our platform in order to meet our customers’ evolving needs. * Research and develop a target list of sellers that have the identified selection above. * Develop and execute a seller acquisition strategy (source, evaluate, and close deals) that enable us to achieve our new seller onboarding targets. * Identify, prioritize and lead strategic projects (from problem definition to strategy formulation and implementation planning/execution) to enhance the customer experience for Marketplace selection.

**Minimum Qualifications** * 5-7 years of related work experience years of related work experience * Online ecommerce and/or Marketplace experience required * May include occasional travel to Bentonville AR and other locations **Additional Preferred Qualifications** * Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to persuade, communicate vision and motivate people at every level within Wal-Mart and partner organizations; cooperative working style * Good business judgment * Ability to dive deep and use data analytics to solve complex business problems * Performs well in an environment with competing priorities, multiple projects, and a virtual teams * Strategy and Management Consulting Background * Positive, upbeat, can-do attitude * MBA with strategy, finance concentrations preferred
