Summary
Coordinates assigned furniture projects. The position requires the individual to handle a heavy workload consisting of two territories/specialists with little or no assistance. Must possess the ability to remove roadblocks and act as a catalyst for project requirements from purchase order through completion.
Responsibilities
* Coordinates assigned projects from receipt of the customer purchase order through obtaining appropriate approvals, time lines and customer billing. * Orders all product, expedites product, tracks ship dates and invoices product within customer purchase order. * Keeps the customer and sales team apprised of Project progress and status.
Ideal Candidate
**Experience & Skills:** * Able to handle a flexible work schedule * Strong Customer Service Skills * Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to communicate effectively on all levels * Able to lead by example as well as by instruction * Strong organizational skills **Qualifications:** * High school diploma required; college degree preferred. * 2 to 3 years of Project Management or related experience required * Understands all aspects of Project Management * Good computer skills in Microsoft Office Suites **Environmental Working Conditions & Physical Effort:** * Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level. * Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems. * A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis. * Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
