User Interface / User Experience Designer

vMOX is an industry leading consultant and managed service provider in the mobile space. Headquartered in New York with satellite locations in New Jersey and Indiana, we service both domestic and international companies, reducing their mobile expenses. We work directly with all major providers including Verizon, Sprint, ATT, and T-Mobile.

We are seeking a full-time UI/UX Designer with the creativity, passion and work ethic necessary to challenge our top-notch developers.

* You will collaborate with ownership, executives and users to help shape our product and deliver new features monthly. With everything you design you will be building our future success, improving our effectiveness, and making our users happier. * You will interview internal and external users, create wireframes and mockups mapping out the user experience and work with our engineering team to ensure they deliver on your expert design. * You are critical to our success, leveraging your skill, knowledge and dedication to design the applications that will make us more than we are today. * While delivering fantastic outcomes through Agile processes you will further develop your skills and knowledge. You will be pushed to solve ever more complex design problems and continually make things better. * You will work under the tutelage of our Software Development Manager, and developer extraordinaire, the CTO and alongside other like minded professionals.

* You obsess over details and accuracy of responsive layouts across multiple screens and devices as you conduct user research, prototype and visually design interactions. * You enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems on how to help users consume large data sets in a easy and intuitive way. * You empathize with the frustrations of users and get frustrated yourself using many applications due to their lack of focus on the end-user. * You are skilled at articulating concepts and outcomes of your design goals as you collaborate with developers and Product Management to be the champion for the user and drive others to take on the extra effort needed to deliver excellence.
