Lead SW Engineer

Lead SW Engineer position available at Inovant, LLC in Foster City, CA. Responsible for leading design and development efforts on global product releases of Visa Resolve Online Dispute Management System.

* Required to analyze business rqmts leveraging expertise on payment processing and card dispute resolution mgmt domain and propose feasible tech’l solutions. * Responsible for conducting estimation activities, driving scoping discussions, planning multiple development streams, tracking quality, supporting testing and implementation efforts on large Resolve Online business releases and multi-year technology upgrade initiatives. * Conduct design activities, develop code and perform development integration testing, support QA testing activities and production roll-out efforts. * Provide guidance to development teams and ensure good quality of design and code through periodic tech’l reviews, functional coverage reviews etc. * No direct supervision, or direct reports, or managerial duties involved. * Track changes, ensure adherence to change control process, and lead scoping discussions to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Define and design solutions to integrate Visa Resolve Online * Application with other relevant systems in Visa for a complete dispute flow. * Leverage industry trends to shape feasible functional/ tech’l solutions and process improvements, and identify and propose new ideas, drive consensus and implement technology upgrade initiatives. * Utilizes graduate-level research and analysis skills.

* Requires Master’s degree in Comp. Sci., or related tech’l field and 6 yrs of work exp. in job offered or 6 yrs of work exp. in a computer software engineering-related occupation. * Edu. or exp. must include: 1) Knowledge and expertise with payment processing and card dispute resolution systems; 2) Expertise in developing high performance Web Services; 3) Technical Expertise with using IBM DataPower ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) for ESI (Enterprise Service Integration) and WSI (Web Services Integration); 4) Technical expertise with using IBM MQBroker as an integration layer. Ability to design and develop Message flows using IBM MQ Broker; 5) Experience designing and developing using Spring Integration framework as Application Enterprise Service Bus; 6) Technical Expertise with using IBM iLog JRules as the Business Rule Engine; 7) Experience using IBM ClearCase as SCM tool, ant scripts and basic knowledge of Buildforge; and, 8) Knowledge of continuous Integration using Jenkins and Gradle scripts.
