Senior Accounting Manager

To date, we've promoted more than 75,000 global video campaigns across our network of more than 100,000 publishing properties on desktop and mobile web, through our unique and sophisticated video ad units. Digital video is the fastest growing online advertising format and the industry is expected to reach $5 billion this year.

Virool is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. The first order of business is to perform the cleanup of existing data/statements, finish the accrual process and set procedures for end of month close. This is a hands-on role with high growth potential.

• Building, preparing, and revising financial statements (P&L, CF, BS)
• Driving AP/AR; actively managing invoicing, AR and monthly revenue recognition, including
  • Invoicing clients
  • Collecting payments from clients
  • Processing publisher payments
• Creating budgets for various departments
• Optimizing cost expenditures
• Working cross functionally, specifically with Sales and services teams
• Implementing internal controls; ensuring maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures
• Maintaining current business forecast and cash flow

• Fluency in GAAP principles
• Experience building and implementing A/R, A/P, and full bookkeeping practices
• Strong knowledge of accounting tools/offerings available and their pros and cons
• Proven experience with Quickbooks Online
• Ability to work independently to solve challenges
• Experience working autonomously in an environment that required decision making and problem solving

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in an industry that had NET 30-90 payment collection terms from their clients
• Adtech experience
• CPA
• Big 4 experience
