Summary
As an Account Executive on the Inside Sales team, you have a unique opportunity to tackle a green field opportunity and help scale our sales team. You are held responsible for achieving an individual quarterly and annual sales quota based on opportunities sourced by inbound lead generation. You are responsible for maintaining and growing an existing client list while also qualifying and up-selling new clients and prospects that will contribute to meaningful revenue for the company. You are a team player and able to collaborate with the direct team, the sales organization as a whole, and everyone in the company. You have strong character, are self-motivated, excited about the advertising and technology industries, are solutions oriented, and love to win.
Responsibilities
* Qualify, up-sell, maintain and grow revenue-generating relationships with online video advertisers * Communicate Virool’s offerings and unique value proposition to advertisers via email, over the phone, and through formal campaign proposals * Manage sales cycles and clearly convey the company’s value proposition to clients as products evolve, capabilities expand and market dynamics change * Report and track all revenue including sales activity and deal pipeline through SalesForce * Secure revenue through the sale of Virool’s self-service products while simultaneously pitching managed and full service clients with higher budgets * Represent Virool with the highest level of integrity * Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree * 1+ years sales experience, preferably in advertising technology and/or media sales * Ability to make 50+ phone calls daily and manage a book of existing clients * Effectively communicate with clients and prospects via email * Effectively manage time and juggle different initiatives simultaneously * Effectively communicate with management to forecast revenue accurately * Work well with the entire sales team as a collaborative contributor to our overall goals * Independent problem solver - comes with solutions not just challenges * Has a high sense of integrity and respects clients and colleagues
