Radiology Tech - Per Diem

This is a Part time or PRN position, shift varies.

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for providing services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations. Produces radiographs as ordered by physician and in accordance with departmental standards. Takes precautionary measures against exposure to radiation in accordance with departmental standards. Provides for proper shielding of patients to minimize radiation exposure. Provides sterilization of reusable equipment. Participates in ""call"" schedule. May perform phlebotomy for laboratory tests as ordered by the physician and in accordance with hospital standards. Performs other related duties as assigned.

* Graduate of Radiologic Technology School required.. * Current American Heart Association BLS for the Healthcare Provider certification required. * License with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required. * Prefer six (6) to twelve (12) months experience. * CT registry preferred. * Must possess a working knowledge of, and be able to demonstrate competency in, X-ray radiography, fluoroscopy, and CT procedures and equipment and use of 3-D image workstations. * Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of computer software applications. * Must be able to demonstrate good time management, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
