Motion Broadcast/Designer

**Overview** - This designer / animator is an integral part of our Motion Design group and oversees the production for many of our toolkit-based promotions. - This work accounts for a significant portion of the Motion Design group's day-to-day responsibilities and supports Comedy Central's Brand Creative across multiple platforms. ***PLEASE SUBMIT SAMPLES OF YOUR WORK OR REEL WITH YOUR RESUME*** **Responsibilities** - Design and animation support for promotional projects such as: stand-up, uncensored specials, movies and DTO/DVD spots. - Daily production of motion graphics elements for use across 1515 LED boards, digital end slates, on-air promo packaging and network lower thirds. - Continued maintenance and development of various motion design toolkits. - Support in the design and production of one-hour stand-up show opens. - Design and animation support for custom promotional stunts and sponsored elements.

**Basic Qualifications** - 3-5 years of motion graphic design experience is required. - A reel of motion graphic work is required for consideration for this position. **Examples of this type of work include, but are not limited to:** - Production Design and Animation - Design and animation support for promotional projects such as: stand-up, uncensored specials, movies and DTO/DVD spots. - Daily production of motion graphics elements for use across 1515 LED boards, digital end slates, on-air promo packaging and network lower thirds. - Continued maintenance and development of various motion design toolits. - Support in the design and production of one-hour stand-up show opens. - Design and animation support for custom promotional stunts and sponsored elements. **Additional Qualifications** - Expertise in the full Adobe Creative Sutie: After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and Premiere. - Previous experience at a television network is strongly preferred. - Experience in Flash and Cinema 4D is a plus - Strong communication skills are essential as this position requires working closely with writer / producers, editors and art directors. - Excellent grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills are required. - Excellent organization and time-management skills are essential for this role.
