The Statistician/Mathematician I develops, manages and maintains pay tables and related information for gaming products. All work is performed under supervision and follows VGT standards and processes.
- Analyzes existing game play characteristics
- Develops reports to illustrate the results and findings to others
- Participates in new game design/conception
- Creates tables and templates for new games
- Works under close supervision with others to develop game prototypes and tools
- Assists in analysis of Casino and Test Lab inquires of game play characteristics
- Maintains, updates, and organizes pay tables and related information
- Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- A strong understanding of probability and its application to games of chance
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail
- Good written and oral communications
- Planning and organizing skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Understanding of slot industry
- Knowledge of C++ and C# or other programming language
- Bachelors degree in mathematics and/or statistics
- 0-3 years designing casino games and creating paytables for Class II and/or Class III gaming industry
