* Design and develop enterprise applications in a Web environment. Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. May manage websites including design, develop, deploy and maintain activities as well as perform testing and quality assurance of web sites and web applications. * Convert project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to detailed logical flow charts for coding into computer language. Develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information. Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities. Develop code, tests, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software. Perform maintenance on existing software products and contribute knowledge of business applications. Write programs according to specifications needed. Provide technical support in the evaluation of prime object names, data elements, and other objects. Ensure object definitions are clear, concise, and technically correct and are consistent with data and process models. Work with the technical staff to understand problems and resolve software problems. * Translate detailed design into computer software. Test, debug, and refine computer software to produce the required product. Prepare program-level and user-level documentation. Enhance software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency. Provide technical direction to programmers as required to ensure program deadlines are met. Monitor and support computer processing. Coordinate input, output, and file media.

* At a minimum, a candidate must possess a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a Bachelor’s degree with an additional two (2) years of relevant experience as described below in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems. The candidate must possess lA certifications in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M. (Network+, Security+, A+, and a Windows Operating System certificate) * Has minimum of four (4) years of applications developer with an emphasis in software systems applications, design, development, and inter-connectivity. Additionally, a minimum of four (4) years' experience developing medium to large scale custom Java, or C#NB.Net applications is required. The minimum required experience can be concurrent. Experience in the following areas is desired, but not required: * Previous experience in most/all of the following: JavaScript, C#, HTML, XML, and web services. * Previous experience as a Java developer, leading the design, development, and implementation of Java applications. * Experience working with relational databases such as sql server
