Software Engineer

Veeva Systems Inc. is a leader in cloud-based software for the global life sciences industry.

In this position, you will have an opportunity to build new product functionality for Veeva’s very successful CRM business. You will work with a talented, passionate set of engineers and solve technically complex problems. You will own the end to end software development process and contribute to design, implementation and unit tests. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, curious learner who is comfortable in a fast paced environment and passionate about creating “wow” experiences for customers.

* Design, Implementation and Testing of new features. * Diagnose & troubleshoot live issues to ensure successful customer engagement. * Develop domain knowledge and provide critical feedback to implementation. Help drive engineering driven performance culture. * Contribute to SaaS tools – gather metrics, evaluate and provide data points on our cloud deployment * Work with architects and help design changes to ensure the best possible product in terms of quality, scalability and performance. * Improvise and innovate to make problem solving more efficient.

* 3 years of experience developing with JS, HTML, CSS. Knowledge and experience with Angular JS or other JS frameworks. * Experience working with relational databases (such as My SQL). * Server side Java development experience. * Working knowledge of RESTful development. * Knowledge and experience developing scalable, high performance applications and services. **Nice to Have:** * Mobile development experience. * Salesforce knowledge/experience.
