Summary
The Salesforce.com Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying solutions, using Apex and Visualforce, and often leveraging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and other technologies. The Developer must be able to communicate well with user groups who have varying technical abilities. Has an ability to understand user requirements and translate them into a technical reality that is extendable and maintainable. To succeed in this role, you must be able to work directly with the platform, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and implement customized applications. You must be motivated, a self–starter, detail oriented, have excellent problem-solving skills, and take ownership of work. You must thrive on working with complex problems and finding and creating simple solutions that address business needs.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop Salesforce-based applications and enhancements * Understand and leverage the Salesforce provided APIs * Review and understand business requirements and create functional prototypes to address them * Follow established Salesforce development standards and best practices * Assist in troubleshooting difficult technical issues * Maintain existing applications with an eye to continuous automation and improvement * Stay current on Force.com technology changes and Salesforce releases * Work in an agile manner; be flexible to changing priorities * Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Force.com platform * Communicate with user groups regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions * Experience developing and delivering solutions to real user group problems, preferably with an emphasis on Sales, Customer Service, and/or Marketing issues
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science) and 2+ years of professional experience * Strong oral and written communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to work in a fast-paced culture * Certified Force.com developer * Experience developing with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 **Nice to Have:** * Certified advanced Force.com developer * Experience with third party integrators; Boomi, Mulesoft, etc.
