- Designs, develops, and coordinates integrated security systems such as access control, alarm, and camera systems.
- Provides analysis, demonstration, and deployment of cyber-physical systems to enhance the security of critical infrastructure and the safety.
- Provides digital hardware assessment, high-level systems analyses, modeling and simulation, systems engineering, and field deployments.
- Establish credible technical and operational concepts by interacting with cross-functional teams and end users.
- Responsible for ongoing support and maintenance, as well as continuous improvement, of security systems
- Creates support and end-user documentation for security systems
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of physical security standards
- Possesses understanding of key system drivers, including the threat/risk, performance metrics, and operational constraints.
- Conducts site surveys and works with cross functional teams to design physical security device placement to include connectivity, device selection, standards compliance and implementation of solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
- 8-10 years of related systems engineering experience.
- Advanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
- Knowledge of the associated hardware, software, and equipment.
- Knowledge and experience with at - Software House C-Cure
- Knowledge and experience with at least one of the security applications preferred- Vindicator, Milestone, Bosch
Unique/Additional Requirements:
Active Secret clearance is preferred. Candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD).
Working Conditions
The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. Must be able to lift and carry at least 30-50 lbs.
