Engineering Technician V

* Engineer, design, and install telecommunications systems and electronic systems * Develop engineering and/or red-line drawings and corrections of "as built" configurations for telecommunications systems and electronic systems * Develop documents and construct major units, devices, or equipment * Plans and/or assists in planning tests to evaluate equipment performance * Designs and conduct tests or experiments * Analyze results and redesign or modify equipment to improve performance and report results * Work with Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO), Engineering Changes (EC), and Engineering change packages.

**Requirements:** * Experience working with commercial off the shelf (COTS) or Government off the shelf (GOTS) Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and SCI Networking systems. * Experience working with shipboard and shore station systems. * Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing USCG telecommunications and electronic systems. **Education:** * Preferred * Associate Degree in Engineering or completion of USCG or DOD Technical Schools **Expertise:** * Preferred * Experience working with commercial off the shelf (COTS) or Government off the shelf (GOTS) Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and SCI Networking systems * Six years of experience in electronic systems troubleshooting and repair, including both shipboard and shore variations. * Two years of experience working with C4ISR Systems. * Experience with Shipboard Signals Exploitation Equipment increment E and increment F, AN/USC-148D (V) 2 Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Networks, WMEC Cryptologic Replacement System **Clearance:** * US Citizen with Top SECRET / SCI
