Level I Applications Developer

• Develops, enhances, and maintains an enterprise application software in an agile development environment
• Analyzes client requirements and designs solution using security and software best practices
• Documents software architecture and design
• Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications
• Performs and automates unit tests for developed software
• Assists in software and application design, development, enhancement, debugging, support, and
• Researches, tests, builds, and assists with the conversion or integration of new products based on client
• Participants in the designs and development of new software products and enhancements to existing software and evaluates
• Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancement
• Participates in development of software user manuals and technical

Required:

• The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/USCIS EOD Suitability Clearance
• An Associate’s Degree or higher and/or 1+ years of experience in software development using an object-oriented programming language.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated knowledge or experience in software development best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in teams as well as independently.
