Research Assistant I

• Behavioral and electrophysiological testing of nonhuman primates
• Under moderate supervision, conduct and evaluate experiments and assays
• Prepare, operate and troubleshoot equipment in experimental procedures
• Ensure laboratory is prepared for experiments
• Demonstrate an understanding of acceptable procedures and techniques
• Provide appropriate written documentation of experiments
• Assisting in other laboratory and research functions

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Anthropology or Primatology
• Background in behavioral and electrophysiological testing of nonhuman primates
• Veterinary Technician experience a plus
• Computer programing experience
