Network Engineer

Vail Valley Medical Center is an independent, non-profit medical center that has served the Vail Valley and its visitors since 1965.

The goal of the Network Engineer is to monitor day operations, schedule maintenance events, and perform system backups.

• Troubleshoot and address network performance issues or complaints.
• Install, support, and maintain new server hardware and server software.
• Manage email, anti-spam, and virus protection.
• Manage and support the PBX and Call Manager systems.
• Act as escalation point for other IT staff to help resolve computer and network issues.
• Manage VVMC's Active Directory.
• Ensure that all network equipment complies with industry standards.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and enhancements to the network platform.
• Create and maintain network support documentation.
• Provide 24 x 7 production support on a rotating basis

• 2 years of Network Engineer experience required.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Experience of monitor day operations, schedule maintenance events, and perform system backups.
