Summary
The goal of the Network Engineer is to monitor day operations, schedule maintenance events, and perform system backups.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot and address network performance issues or complaints.
* Install, support, and maintain new server hardware and server software.
* Manage email, anti-spam, and virus protection.
* Manage and support the PBX and Call Manager systems.
* Act as escalation point for other IT staff to help resolve computer and network issues.
* Manage VVMC's Active Directory.
* Ensure that all network equipment complies with industry standards.
* Conduct scheduled maintenance and enhancements to the network platform.
* Create and maintain network support documentation.
* Provide 24 x 7 production support on a rotating basis
Ideal Candidate
* 2 years of Network Engineer experience required.
* Healthcare experience required.
* Experience of monitor day operations, schedule maintenance events, and perform system backups.
