Summary
This is an entry-level position responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable electrical operations of all lifts here at Keystone.
Responsibilities
- Complete all preventive maintenance procedures assigned - Document repairs, labor, and materials accurately on work orders - Responsible for all tools and vehicles assigned - Climbing and working at heights of 100 feet - Responsible for following all company safety policies and procedures, specifically including working with 480 V ac and 24 V dc. - Assist in the on-going training and support of seasonal lift operations - Must be able to work safely outdoors in a high alpine mountain environment (12,000 feet), sometimes with temperatures down to -20°F for extended period of time - Able to assist in troubleshooting and repair of lift related electronic controls, including relay logic, PLCs, solid state devices, and motor drives
Ideal Candidate
- Associates in Electronics or a high school diploma/GED with at least one year of experience with installing/troubleshooting dc controls - Proficient with digital multimeters, amp clamps, and oscilloscopes - Work well in a team environment - Have a good mechanical aptitude - A good understanding of electrical schematics (American and European) - A valid driver's license is preferred - Be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays - Applicant must be able to demonstrate a passion for electronics
