Staff Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team. A person acting in this position must have a strong understanding of accounting principles coupled with attention to detail. In order for this candidate to be successful, he/she must be highly self-motivated and directed, committed to solving problems efficiently, and interested in being part of an organization committed to continuous growth and improvement. This is a position that must be able to set the standard for integrity and professionalism, and interact with a diverse team.

• Perform daily bank statement reconciliations
• Reconcile payments from payment processors
• Maintain list of reservations
• Review and reconcile invoices from third parties
• Input expenses into general ledger system
• Assist with consolidation entries
• Correspond with other corporate departments to ensure proper accounting treatment of income and expenses
• Research and correct account coding
• Special projects and research as assigned

• 4-6 years experience in corporate environment or accounting degree plus 1-2 years experience
• Working knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Effective communication
