Technical Manager

- Manage application development - Identify and manage project dependencies - Estimate the resources and identify team members needed to achieve project goals. - Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones - Effectively communicate project status and issues to team members and stakeholders - Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members - Review and approve development teams technical approaches - Confer with other managers on integration and infrastructure requirements - Lead in the creation of lifecycle documents – requirements, use cases, and technical designs

- University BS, BA or Masters required - 5 years direct work experience in an IT Project Management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. - "Big" Data and Open Systems experience - Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development framework - Demonstrated experience in personnel management - Experience with most of the following - Hadoop, Redis, Kafka, Postgres, Angular JS, Golang. - Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential - Analytical and problem-solving capabilities - Strong written and oral communication skills - Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products - Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management training sessions, presentations and meetings.
