Responsibilities
**Responsibilities** - Participate as a contributor to cross-functional teams that include creative leads, other designers, project management, product management, software developers, and QA. - Participate in product and feature ideation and conceptual development. - Produce user requirements specifications, conceptual models, personas, storyboards/scenarios, flow charts, conceptual sketches, wireframes, design prototypes, and design specifications. - Design and specify user interfaces and information architecture using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of requirements discovery. - Create wireframes that effectively communicate product function and intent, user interaction, and screen hierarchy. - Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design rationale both verbally and visually to stakeholders and team members. - Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.
Ideal Candidate
**Job Requirements:** - 1-3 years of user interface design experience - Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, graphics design, fine arts, or a related design or behavioral science discipline - Excellent communication and organization skills with an eye for detail - In-depth knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to modern web, responsive web, and mobile applications - Strong and flexible skills in interaction design and visual design - Ability to work both on a team as a collaborator and contributor as well as independently - Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Illustrator and Photoshop - Proficiency with other design and prototyping tools such as Keynote, Sketch, InVision, or Quartz Composer - Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
