Summary
You are an entrepreneurial-minded and driven sales leader that is highly motivated to develop solutions and articulate the value of Urban Airship’s solutions to potential customers and work to generate new business while also growing existing customer accounts. You have a strong capacity to self-generate small/medium business leads, convert those leads to customers, develop existing accounts and close sales quickly.
Responsibilities
* Develop and cultivate company-provided leads through the entire sales cycle (from qualifying to negotiating and closing) * Articulate the Urban Airship’s services, benefits, and processes to potential merchants through all outlets (phone, online, and in-person) * Learn and develop new, creative sales techniques and strategies * Position yourself to understand the marketing needs of a small business * Meet monthly sales targets according to sales plan * Be able to contribute significantly to award winning team culture * Ability to forecast on a weekly basis
Ideal Candidate
* 3 years of sales related experience including at least 1 year of software sales. * Ability to thrive in an ever-changing, upbeat environment * Extraordinary communication skills, both written and oral (you'll be speaking with a lot of potential customers as their personal "advisor") * Ability to work autonomously while maintaining focus and work ethic * Motivation to grow and win, individually and as part of a team
