Responsibilities
* Second level support for Customer Problem resolution * Triage, investigating reported issues, deploying fixes to UA services and management of escalations into core development. * Develop tools and automation based on observations of support trends, and opportunities to empower customer support with better tooling and automation * Supporting Important existing Internal Tooling used by all teams solving customer problems. * Open Source Library Management * Develop a Masters level understanding of Urban Airship services and products.
Ideal Candidate
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 2 years in a Technical Support or Development role * Must be able to competently read and write code demonstrably in one of the following: Python, Java, Objective-C, Ruby, JavaScript - with a desire to learn the others * Working knowledge of Linux and Mac OS X * Comfortable with/learning mobile platforms like iOS and Android * Strong written and verbal communication skills, and knowing when to employ one over the other * You have waded into a large unfamiliar codebase and come back out with the solution to a problem * Strong customer service and collaboration skills
