Summary
We are looking for an experienced, high energy, data-driven inbound marketer to own the marketing funnel for our fast-paced, high-growth start-up company. You will be in charge of attracting eyeballs, converting that traffic into leads, and nurturing those leads into prospects for sales. If you lie awake at night dreaming of ways to improve online marketing, this is the job for you. We’re looking for a self-directed individual excited about having ownership and an immediate impact.
Responsibilities
* Be the expert in marketing automation. Own every aspect of the marketing automation platform and its integration to other business systems. * Be the master of SEO in charge of attracting traffic to the site, converting those visitors into leads, nurturing those leads into prospects and handing off those marketing qualified leads to the sales team to help close. * Build and manage an editorial content calendar in conjunction with product marketing to draw relevant traffic including white papers, data sheets, infographics, blog posts and more. * Make every page on the website drive to conversion through relevant calls to action. Continuously and effectively optimize the conversion process. * Own and optimize the customer experience through a variety of touch points including emails, content and social channels. * Drive the look-and-feel, user experience, content and messaging for the website in conjunction with the rest of the marketing team. * Report to executive team on effectiveness of website, social channels and content. You own site analytics. * Social media wizard who has #awesome ideas for driving awareness and site traffic.
Ideal Candidate
* A/BS degree or equivalent work experience. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to address different audiences. Writing samples required. * Visual design sense plus UI/UX and usability experience within a marketing context. * 5+ years in a digital marketing role. * Proven proficiency with marketing automation platforms like Pardot or Marketo. * Proven proficiency with WordPress or similar CMS, HTML and CSS. * Proven proficiency with Google Analytics. Data-driven with previous experience reporting on site metrics and providing insight to decision-makers.
