Marketing Manager

- We are currently seeking a Manager, Surgical Services Marketing to join our Marketing and Communications team. - The successful candidate will develop, implement and evaluate marketing communication plans to support assigned UI Health Care’s strategic service lines by conducting market research and analysis, coordinating project development and implementation, managing the service line marketing budget, and providing supervision to assigned employees, students and/or volunteers. - The marketing manager communicates with and serves as a liaison to a broad base of stakeholders, including other marketing and communication colleagues, clinical faculty department chairs, clinical department administrators, external vendors and consultants, and others.

**Education Requirement:** - Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business or similar field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **Experience Required:** - 3-5 years in marketing or brand management. - Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, database and analytic tools. - Valid driver’s license plus the ability to meet the University of Iowa Fleet Safety program driving standards. **Desirable Qualifications:** - Master’s Degree in Marketing or Business is highly desired. - High degree of creativity, energy, self-motivation, initiative is highly desired. - Three or more years’ experience in health care marketing in an academic medical center or multi-hospital system is highly desired. - 5 or more years’ experience in marketing or brand management. - Clinical/medical professional license or certification and work experience.
