Summary
As a Technical Product Manager, you will work with strategic product management to help develop the strategy and vision for the product roadmap. You will manage the gathering of accurate requirements, and manage the grooming and execution of these requirements with the development team. You will manage the execution and delivery of these requirements by assuring the development team has the information they need to deliver high quality software on time in an Agile software development environment. You will effectively manage the translation of business priorities and requirements into consumable features and user stories, translating a strategic product vision to deliverable software solutions that impact millions of lives and helps health the health care system.
Responsibilities
* Work with strategic product management to understand the strategic roadmap and translate that to an executable and prioritized product roadmap * Navigate and influence multiple cross-functional teams in a complex, matrix work environment * Develop consumable requirements using Optum’s Scaled Agile Framework methodology * Work with product managers and business analysts to act as true SME’s for the development team during release execution * Balance the delivery of critical customer support and infrastructure work with the execution of a strategic roadmap * Oversee the release planning process at the start and end of each release cycle
Ideal Candidate
**Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience * 7+ years of Product Management / Product development experience * 7+ years of direct healthcare IT experience * 5+ years of Agile development experience * Ability to travel up to 25 % of the time **Preferred Qualifications:** * Strong understanding of Health Information Exchange technology * Extensive knowledge of HL7 v2 and v3 * Working knowledge of IHE profiles and interoperability * Advanced Degree
