Senior Applications Developer

* Identify, analyze and resolve routine and complex system issues for current production applications * Responsibility, at a high level, includes application availability, reliability and stability * Participate in 24x7 on call support * Ensure timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding SLAs * Ensure that the work delivered by the team is of high quality * Work with business to prioritize production issues for resolution * Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a corrective action plan * Work on break-fixes for production issues and implement the same * Assist in providing management status reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis * Assist as a liaison between offshore resources and business/ onsite IT management * Identify application performance improvement initiatives and implement the same in consultation with Service Manager * Work on process improvement initiatives

**Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/ GED with 6+ years of equivalent work experience in the IT field * 4+ years of experience with COBOL, JCL, TSO * 4+ years of experience with CICS * 4+ years of experience with VSAM * 4+ years of experience with DB2 * 3+ years of Relational Database experience * 2+ years of with MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint **Preferred Requirements:** * Healthcare experience * Knowledge of Java, TWS, DataStage * Strong analytical and technical aptitude * Exposure to complex, cross-departmental projects involving multiple platforms
