Responsibilities
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:** The VISTA will - Work with staff to continue to grow and improve the volunteer financial coaching program. - Provide support for all program management and program evaluation. - Work with staff to recruit, support and train volunteers to become financial coaches as well as to work with local nonprofits to recruit participants. - Conduct outreach, training and technical assistance to area nonprofits utilizing the Volunteer Action Center’s online database. - Have to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Ideal Candidate
**Education/experience:** College degree. Post college work experience or Masters Degree desired but not required. **Desired skills and knowledge:** Professionalism, Excellent oral and written communication skills including comfort public speaking, Comfort working with diverse populations, Motivated self-starter, Ability to work independently, Proficient in use of Microsoft Office. Comfort learning web based technology, Social Media and other technology platforms.
