Project Manager Business Management

This position will act as the principal project manager focusing on the planning and integration of technology needs in the UBS Asset Management Global Real Estate-US business. To be successful the position must work closely with internal functions to ensure appropriate direction and availability of resources and also work with external service providers as needed.

* • Lead all business efforts with regard to: * The selection, adoption and implementation of the next generation technology platform. * Technology planning, including timing and execution of system updates, roll-outs, and business continuity and disaster backup and recovery (DBAR). * Work closely with UBS Corporate Center functions in the preparation of budgets and directing business system priorities. * Manage project timelines, obtaining all required internal process approvals to ensure timely delivery and implementation. * Keep abreast of developments in the technology world specifically related to RE investment and changes to infrastructure. * Work with functional business representatives to develop technology solutions for current and anticipated needs. * Address business and system risk through a thoughtful and coordinated approach to business issues. * Lead the GRE - US IT steering Committee. *Advocate on behalf of the business to ensure its needs, strategy and direction are understood by other internal functional areas. * Resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within or between projects and functional areas. * Work with global real estate teams to develop strategic business solutions, following common business models where practicable. * Evaluate, negotiate and manage relationships with internal and external key stakeholders including current and potential third party service providers. * Actively participate and make recommendations toward the selection of consultants and systems including software as a service.
