Senior Web Designer

• Translate marketing strategy into insight-based, client-focused, sales-driven communications across a variety of internal and external channels, to target high net worth individuals/families and the Advisors who serve them

• Demonstrated experience and ability to lead and manage digital/multimedia team with innovative ideas, best practices; growth and development through coaching and training

• Ability to embrace and interpret the brand while continually finding ways to adapt it to address client, Advisor, business, cultural and channel needs in truly relevant ways

• Projects include web site/page design and implementation, micro sites, rich media/interactive ad units, mobile applications/platforms, HTML emails, interface design, animations and motion graphics including but not limited to videos, web banners, event scenic and screensavers

• Create solutions that meet measurable business goals and merchandising objectives according to requirements

• Create user-centered designs by integrating marketing objectives, existing creative assets, and brand guides

• Collaborate with Operations Manager to establish overall digital work processes and standards

• Confident, skillful and persuasive presenter of creative work both at conceptual and detailed level.

• Able to pitch the work and rationalize work in terms of Advisor and client needs.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Expertly manage and work on and/or oversee multiple projects within tight timelines, prioritize projects, and execution through final launch

• Quick learner with curious mind and passion for design and interactive web experiences who can thrive in a corporate yet entrepreneurial environment

• Seasoned digital pro who thrives in a fast-paced environment characterized by high volume, high performance and high standards.

• Able to think on the fly when needed and make creative adjustments.

• Ideal candidate will bring great design skill to a team creating engaging, functional, user-centric web experiences with an understanding of UX and fundamental design practice

• Expertise in creating innovative, inviting, client-focused web design experiences in collaboration with designers, writers, product mangers, project managers, marketing and business partners

• Engage in essential production work including animation/coding of designs, third-party platforms (z-mags and Ceros) and working within existing CMS (Adobe AEM-based) and to create custom code to enhance platform as needed

• Ability to troubleshoot projects and offer alternative relevant and innovative solutions

• Quality control, testing and review of deliverables to ensure flawless execution of brand communications and business initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in design/digital media or equivalent professional experience with strong design and interactive portfolio

• Minimum of 7 years experience as an interactive designer, preferably with 10+ years in an interactive agency environment

• Strong understanding of web technologies (as they relate to creative concept development and design), interaction and experience design

• Proven past managerial and leadership experience

Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud

Proficient in Flash, Actionscript 2 and 3 an HMTL5, CSS/3 and JavaScript, jQuery

PowerPoint expertise a strong plus
