We’re seeking an innovative Photo Retoucher to take our brands to the next level of excellence. Our ideal candidate is dedicated to retouching digital product and model shots for both print and digital use. The position requires the ability to understand our specific brand aesthetic goals and must be able to elevate any selected original image to meet or exceed our standards. We are seeking an individual that can help us overcome a common challenge—keeping the quality to a maximum while maintaining a short expected turnaround time. This person will be a member of a rapidly growing Art Team in a high volume, fast-paced work environment. The position requires the ability to balance organizational tasks with production skills to ensure efficient throughput of assets. The ideal candidate should come from a creative background and have a keen artistic eye for what looks good and what needs to be retouched and what does not.

- Handle all aspects of image production - retouching, color-correcting, cropping, and prepping product imagery in Adobe Photoshop and other related software. Emphasis placed on being able to color-correct product for the most accurate representation for both print and digital. - Review all work, both creative and technical, for accuracy before submitting for approval. - Edit or update existing files, conduct design modifications on product images.

**Required Skills** - Color correction, compositing, masking, sharpening, resizing, etc. - Edit in multiple color profiles and extensive composite work. - Use judgment on levels of steps/complexity required to get desired critical image quality, while keeping in line company creative direction. - Edit product photography by creating clipping paths, drop shadows, reflections, adjusting color, and modify form factors. - Composite studio imagery into lifestyle photos. - Prepare, name, and file all image according to production procedures. - Communicate with Art Directors, Photographer and Creative Director. - Manage workload to meet strict deadlines. - Work with art team and Art Directors to monitor, report and improve workflow efficiency. - Output color random proof for assessment, compare and reproof. - Adjust color of images to match product samples for both print and digital. - Thorough knowledge of Mac OS. **Required Experience** - Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software particularly Photoshop, Camera Raw and Bridge. - 1+ year minimum prior experience in photo retouching including color correction, compositing, masking, resizing, optimization, file output and management. - Sports/Lifestyle and Studio retouching experience a must. - Open and receptive to learning and critiquing. - Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail. - Ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Experience with digital post-production for print. - During the application process, the candidate must attach his/her portfolio file or include a link to the online portfolio on the resume
