ICAM Data Modeler

Tygart is currently seeking a ICAM Data Modeler to support a Technology Innovation Office for a Department of Justice (DoJ) organization.The Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Data Modeler is responsible for supporting discovery, analysis, detailed data modeling, data standards and technical specifications, and architecting solutions supporting the planning and implementation of an objective enterprise ICAM capability. Ideal candidate is familiar with ICAM and/or enterprise IT deployments and has experience working with large scale deployments analyzing multiple information systems that may or may not be currently integrated via a common information architecture. Top Secret clearance required.

* Conduct discovery of independent systems and applications to understand their current data requirements and interfaces * Construct, refine, and maintain information models that meet overall business requirements. * Participate in data governance processes to assure changes to existing databases meet the federal standards. * Work with various project teams on relational database design that adheres to the overall enterprise data architecture and best practices. * Work with the project team in developing logical data models that support analytic processes. * Assist the Enterprise Architect with data object structural design. * Conduct performance tuning on existing enterprise data structures. * Supporting architecting solutions that balancing optimization of data access with resource utilization factors. * Support developing data standards, developing technical specification * Advise on data modeling and analysis tools and methods developing the associated metadata requirements that supports primarily operational data needs.

* Data modeling experience: 5 years * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline (e.g., engineering) is required. * 5 - 10 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of three years in database design. * Familiarity with ICAM (aka FICAM, IdAM, IAM, IAA, etc.) desired with a specific emphasis on RBAC and ABAC access control methods * Familiarity with Federal Agencies and IC ITE * A strong desire to work in a fast paced environment in a position with high visibility. * Detail oriented with good interpersonal skills and a strong team orientation. * Demonstrated capability of working on multiple projects simultaneously. * Understanding of relational database management systems.
