Cloud Services System Architect

Tygart is currently seeking a Systems Architect to support a Department of Justice (DoJ) organization. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in cloud services, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud service offerings. This position requires that the candidate have a current Top Secret security clearance.

* Develop and design a practices and patterns website that will inform application development teams to evaluate, engineer, and move workload to commercial cloud service providers * Evaluate and produce content for cloud practices website * Create guidance documentation for use and movement of application to cloud services

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. * Five (5) years of work experience supporting application development teams * Demonstrated experience with migrating or developing applications to commercial cloud providers * Experience with AWS cloud service offerings * Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ITIL, Agile and SCRUM Methodologies. * AWS Certification is highly desired. * Demonstrated ability to work with government leaders and application teams to implement sound engineering practices. * Must be able to well under pressure, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent organizational skills.
