Summary
We are a team of event strategists who are focused on producing creative and innovative experiential moments/programs. We are looking for a seasoned event marketer to join our team and continue to elevate our world-class events. This is an event-strategy-driven role, and creative vision weighs just as heavily as project and time management. We are a part of the Global Business Marketing team and work cross-functionally with various teams: Agency Development, Brand Strategy, Business Development and Developer Platform Relations, Creative, Communications, Finance, Industry Marketing, Marketing Integration, Procurement and Sourcing, Sales, and Speakers Bureau.
Responsibilities
* The Event Marketing Manager will oversee our high-visibility B2B events, from conception to budget reconciliation to ROI tracking, and align them with marketing strategy and business gulls. Events may include CES, Mobile World Congress, SXSW, Cannes Lions, DMEXCO, Advertising Week, etc. About 25-50% travel will be expected. This role will not have direct reports. We win as a team (must have integrity and no ego). * Develop creative and innovative event strategy in collaboration with the team and stakeholders * Create event marketing plans, presentations, executive communications, and other deliverables * Manage and be held accountable for contractors, vendors, contracts, production schedules, and budgets * Work in a fast-paced environment and execute multiple events with competing priorities * Evaluate event performance, post-event ROI tracking, and wrap-up reports * Be an active and contributing member in our teams creative think tank * Build relationships with internal and external partners * Keep educated on the latest technologies, especially those applicable for events
Ideal Candidate
* Have a proven track record of successful, polished events * Have applicable industry knowledge (media, advertising, tech, etc.) * Communicate effectively: listen, give clear direction verbally and have strong writing skills * Have experience working closely with senior executives * Have good judgement, make right on-brand decisions when its called for, and know when to seek approval * Can work independently but on a team as well * Solve unforeseen situations as they arise in a calm manner **Described as** * Creative * Detail-oriented * Innovative * Passionate * Multi-tasker * Positive * Proactive * Professional * Resourceful * Strategic * Supportive * Team player **Experience** * 6-8 years directly related event marketing experience **Proficient in** * Google Drive (documents, spreadsheets, etc.) * Keynote **Desired by not required** * Illustrator * Photoshop * Timing * Immediate
