Software Engineer for Cloud Infrastructure

* Bring core twitch services into the land of AWS/EC2. * Define and build out a new “service success” framework to unify service infrastructure across Twitch * Work closely with AWS and product teams in Amazon and influence roadmap as appropriate. * Work closely with internal Dev Tool teams to optimize deployment and configuration for our services

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Sciences or equivalent work experience * 3+ years industry experience working in a production code environment. * Experience designing, implementing and debugging highly scalable online services * Deep understanding of concurrency, load balancing, caching systems and when to use what type of data storage * Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilities * Passion for developing and testing clear, robust code * Great communication skills * Experience with Go, Ruby, Puppet a huge plus
