Marketing Executive Assistant

We connect gamers from around the world by allowing them to broadcast, watch, and chat with each other. Twitch’s live and on-demand video platform forms the backbone of a distribution network for video game broadcasters including pro players, tournaments, leagues, developers and gaming media organizations.

As an Executive Assistant on the marketing team, you’ll report directly to the SVP of Marketing. You’ll be an important member of a highly visible team and will be exposed to the entire gamut of marketing strategy, planning, and execution.

* Drive group communication and information discovery * Take notes at internal and external meetings; summarize conversation context, action items, and owners * Track progress of time-sensitive collaborations and help drive to resolution * Assist in writing drafts for policies and publish these decisions, policies, and strategies internally * Track employee team birthdays, anniversaries, etc * Plan and execute offsite marketing team gatherings * Continually optimize group communications using technology, measuring success of your efforts * Assist guests visiting the Twitch office * Liaise with HR and people ops to assist with seating charts, IT, and onboarding new team members * Manage SVP’s calendar and assist with travel schedule and planning * Some travel expected

* 5+ years experience as an executive assistant, office manager, project manager, communications coordinator, or events coordinator * Demonstrated interest and experience in marketing organizations * High level of confidentiality and discretion; high degree of social intelligence * Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, minimal direction * Excellent written and verbal communication * Must be extremely organized and conscientious * Have a strong sense of urgency and can occasionally work outside core hours upon request * Must have a strong understanding of gaming and consumer web technology
