Corporate Development Associate

Twitch is the world’s leading video platform and community for gamers, with more than 100 million visitors per month. We connect gamers from around the world by allowing them to broadcast, watch, and chat with each other. Twitch’s live and on-demand video platform forms the backbone of a distribution network for video game broadcasters including pro players, tournaments, leagues, developers and gaming media organizations.

The Associate role will be a unique opportunity to be highly cross-functional within Twitch while also maintaining heavy exposure externally to new and existing companies and market developments. You will work regularly with senior executives at Twitch to understand and support their M&A and partnership priorities. You will be the hub for analytical research and assist in recommendations on companies and markets. Often times you will be asked to explore new, uncharted territory and craft your own plan for breaking into new markets. We are looking for the perfect mix of idea-person + organized/researched/analytical-person who understands how to package, communicate and sell a business idea; and, of course, knows how to appropriately drop a #Kappa.

* Assist in the evaluation of new markets, company research and modeling * Support M&A deals through due diligence, valuation, integration planning, and execution * Present strategic insights and recommendations to senior management * Work with department leads across the company to evaluate their ideas or bring them ideas for M&A and/or creative partnerships that support their business initiatives * Research and identify key business drivers, trends, competitive landscape and opportunities, translating data into actionable insights * Work cross-functionally with the Amazon Corporate Development, Amazon Legal and other Amazon teams

**Requirements** * 3+ years of work experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, private equity, or venture capital * Significant knowledge of both the gaming and internet/digital media industries * Passion for startups, company and market research, and relationship-building * Experience conducting industry research, analyzing corporate financials, and understanding startup capital structures and financing * Demonstrable ability to distill trends, market developments, and company news into correct forecasts and recommendations * Superior financial modeling skills * Ability to drive multiple projects without compromising your work quality * Comfort with communicating findings to senior management * Bachelor’s degree required **Bonus Points** MBA a plus
