Video Processing Manager

Our video processing group is scaling to keep up with our huge growth, while also building powerful and flexible abstractions to let us iterate fast on product. You will use your experience building effective organizations, and scalable processes, to help scale engineering and ensure that large projects with complex components are delivered faster with better quality. You will work closely with the individual contributors and managers on your teams, as well as cross-team with engineering, product, operations and business leadership to ensure our core products stay stable and scale indefinitely and new are products delivered faster even as we grow. You will own the stability and reliability of core production systems in the Twitch video system. The ideal candidate will have spent 5+ years as a hands-on engineer solving hard scaling problems horizontally, and then at least 3 years leading and building a team of engineers to do the same.

REQUIREMENTS * Strong leadership and communication (synchronous and asynchronous) skills * Strong organizational skills * Hands on management experience building engineering teams and scaling organizations to deliver and maintain complex systems * Hands on experience managing and developing engineering leaders * Hands on development experience scaling complex systems * You love to code
