Turner PR is a boutique public relations, social media and digital communications agency representing some of the world’s best resorts, destinations and brands.
Responsibilities
- Manages daily social media activities for clients including: content sourcing and curation, copywriting and editing, coordination of client approvals, scheduling and management of editorial calendars, posting, and reporting for channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn, Tumblr, YouTube, TripAdvisor, reddit and Snapchat - Conducts training with clients on community management and social engagement best practices - Plans, prepares and delivers strategic digital and social media recommendations and proposals Plans and supports social advertising planning, execution and reporting - Plans and supports influencer and blogger programming planning, execution, reporting and ongoing relationship management - Supports online crisis communication planning, listening and reporting - Manages agency digital and social media marketing efforts - Manages digital and social media vendor database and relationships - Stays up-to-date on social media trends to provide recommendations and best practices to clients - Stays abreast of current industry news and trends - Participates in team brainstorms - Manages account execution and deadlines - Understands and prioritizes the objectives of each client; anticipates needs in advance - Contributes to client relations through meetings, conference calls, events and general contact - Prepares detailed meeting agendas, notes and other reports
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of digital and social media marketing experience. Previous agency experience preferred; experience in and a passion for the travel and tourism or outdoor/active lifestyle industries a plus - BA or BS in public relations, marketing, communications or related field - Proven experience communicating with and counseling clients on digital and social media strategy - Strong creative and strategic writing skills; strong research, organizational and presentation skills - Experience with social media publishing and management tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Tweetdeck and Socialbakers - Experience with social and web analytics, including tools such as Radian6, Sysomos, Rival IQ, Simply Measured, Omniture and Google Analytics, as well as insights development and reporting - Experience with social advertising - A high level of creativity, keen eye for great social content, and knowledge of influencers that do it best - Experience with social listening, “trend-spotting,” and key online outlets, blogs and other digital and social media resources - Talent, drive, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work proactively and independently (as well as in team settings) within a deadline-driven environment - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
