Summary
The Marketing Program Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and optimization of marketing strategies, tactics and programs to acquire new prepaid card customers for NetSpend’s partners, including branded affinity partners (i.e. sports, professional, hobby, loyalty brands). The ideal candidate will be a marketing generalist, with experience in developing and executing direct mail/email campaigns using A/B testing and multivariate testing methodologies. Additionally, the Marketing Program Manager will have experience with overseeing website development, launching digital acquisition campaigns and ability to oversee development and execution of media efforts including educational videos, print and billboard advertising. The Marketing Program Manager must have the interpersonal skills to work closely with internal teams and external clients, all within a complex and tight timeline environment. The candidate will work directly with the Account Management team and external client to develop and seek approval for marketing programs, then quickly dealing with cross-departmental groups such as Creative Services, Legal, Operations, etc. to build and execute those marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will understand acquisition tactics, know how to drive teams to execute effective creative materials, drive internal teams to their deliverables and bring new ideas to the team.
Responsibilities
- Plan/develop/execute acquisition marketing efforts for partner programs including: - Direct mail and email campaigns using A/B testing and multivariate testing - Digital marketing efforts to include websites, banner ads, SEO/SEM - Media efforts such as videos, print advertising and billboards - Write creative briefs to launch marketing campaigns - Ensure marketing materials provide a consistent, integrated brand and messaging experience to consumers - Manage measurement, reporting, insights and recommendations for campaigns - Manage research efforts such as focus groups and/or online surveys for ongoing acquisition strategies - Act as marketing lead for portfolio and projects, including leading meetings and driving asset development - Excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, self-starter, driven, willingness to take ownership and initiative - Some travel required - Other responsibilities as assigned
Ideal Candidate
- 7+ years marketing experience, preferably in consumer-based marketing with brands/affinities - Experience in Direct to Consumer marketing, Digital and Media advertising - Experience in financial services, credit card experience preferred - Experience using Project Management software - Effectively work with teams & clients face-to-face, by phone, and in-person - Extremely high attention to detail is required - Strong analytic mindset focused on testing and measuring impact of initiatives and programs - As provided in NetSpend's Background Check policy, eligible candidates may be subject to drug, criminal history, and credit checks, which will be conducted and used in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws
